IBPS PO Exam
According to Game theory, PO exam is just like knock out tournament. if you fail then, You will be out from the game. The last few years, the IBPS has been conducting PO exam online. IBPS conducts PO exam in two parts, preliminary exam and mains exam. In 2018, IBPS introduced descriptive paper in mains exam. After passing the mains exams, the candidates have to face an interview.

IBPS PO Prelims
PO Preliminary exam is the first step towards banking. A candidate must know complete details about PO Preliminary exam such as It is a qualifying test and the mark of this exam is not add in the final scorecard. Here is the pattern of PO prelims exam.

A candidate must know a few more points for PO exam.
The PO prelim exam has an online mode with one-hour duration. There is negative marking in PO pre-exam as a candidate loses 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The candidates must clear the sectional cut-off to qualify for the PO Main exam.
IBPS PO Mains Exam
After passing the Prelims exam, Get ready for PO mains exam. IBPS PO mains exam is difficult than the prelims exam because it has more subjects than the prelims exam. A candidate has less time to prepare mains exams. Here is the pattern of the Mains exam.

The mains exam is just like a one-day cricket match. You have to score high to enter the next level. If You want to score high marks in the PO exam then, You must mind those points. First, Maintain the accuracy because if you answer wrong a single question then, You lose 0.25% marks. Second, Each section has a separate time duration. You can not switch the current section before the given time is over. Third, there is a descriptive paper to check your language ability so improve your spelling mistake and grammar to write answers impressively.
Interview
After passing the mains exam now, you are at the final stage. IBPS PO interview. Most of the candidates avoid interview preparation. Dear students PO interview is just like a test match cricket. You can not prepare an interview overnight. You should learn something about interviews.

The final list of selected candidates
In the end, IBPS prepares the final list of selected candidates. Candidates need to qualify mains exam and Interview individually to be eligible for the final selection list. The ratio of marks between the main exam and interview for final merit list is 80:20 respectively. IBPS uses the aggregate of 100 marks for the final merit list for each category. IBPS selects the candidates with high merit rank in each category.
