IBPS Clerk Exam Schedule

Application Fees

There are two fee structures of IBPS Clerk. First for SC, ST, PWD or EX-service man candidate category. they have to pay ₹ 100/- exam fee. Second for General category. They have to pay ₹ 600/- exam fee.

 

IBPS Clerk Eligibility 

Before filling the form of CRP Clerk a candidate should ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility.

1. Nationality / Citizenship: A Citizen of India
2. Age: Minimum: 20 years Maximum: 28 years
3. Education: Graduation

Important Points before applying online

  • A candidate can apply from only one state or union territory.
  • The candidate has to appear for the online exam at the allotted exam centre from which state or union territory he has applied.
  • The exam centre will be allotted based on administrative convenience.

  IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern

Friends, You know well that IBPS conducts Clerk exam once a year. Clerk exam has a knock-out exam series in other words if you fail then, you are out of the game. So take each step and subject seriously. Now, Let’s understand complete Exam process.

IBPS conducts clerk exam online. There are two exams and each candidate has to pass both exams to get a clerk job. The exams details are given below in the index.

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Pattern

Each year, millions of students apply for Clerk exam. To make the exam system efficient, IBPS introduced prelims exam. IBPS takes prelims exam to out those candidates who have less quality or not ready for clerk exam. this index shows prelims exam subjects and time.

While taking exams, A candidate must remember those points.

  • Candidates have to qualify not only in each of the three tests but also secure cut-off marks.
  • The adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for the main exam.

IBPS Clerk Main Exam Pattern

After passing the Prelims exam, Get ready for Clerk mains exam. IBPS clerk mains exam is difficult than the prelims exam because it has more subjects than the prelims exam. A candidate has less time to prepare mains exams. Here is the pattern of the Mains exam.

Note:- The above tests except the Tests of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

  • Penalty for Wrong Answers applies to preliminary and  Main Exam.
  • For each wrong answer, one fourth or 0.25 of the marks will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
  • If a question is no answer marked then there will be no penalty for that question.

 Pre-Examination Training for Reserve category Students

Before Exam, IBPS will conduct Pre-Exam Training for a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with benchmark disabilities at certain centres viz.

Note:- While training will be given free of cost but all other expenses such as travelling, boarding, lodging etc. will have to be borne by the candidate for attending the pre-examination training programme at the allotted  Centres.

Important Factors Which decide your Result

  • Each candidate has to score minimum marks in each test of the main exam and also minimum total marks to be considered for further process.
  • The cut-offs will be decided according to the number of vacancies available in the State/ UT wise, and The IBPS will consider provisional allotment.
  • The scores obtained in the main exam will not be shared with the candidates before the completion of the provisional allotment process.
